Grandmothers, mothers, grandads and daughters came from far and wide, Zurich, Seven Oaks, Thanet and Clerkenwell, brought their sewing projects, darned socks, quaffed cocktails in tea cups (gin and raspberry, vodka and cucumber) on this summer’s night High Tea.
Next and last event of the summer: Josie Long Comedy night at the Underground Restaurant, with a Doctor Who themed menu to celebrate 50 years of the programme.
