I’m a big fan of Microplanes as are many professional chefs. They’ve brought out a new Master series with an attractive wooden handle featuring 6 different types of grating; from a zester, a fine blade, a coarse blade, a ribbon grater, an extra coarse blade and a large shaver. I’ve also got a cut-resistant glove which I’ll use with a mandolin for those fiddly last bits where you can cut your fingers.
