Mary's favourite dish when in the Maldives. You can use normal tuna but smoked tuna is more authentic.Smoked tuna is available fresh from Forman and Field and tinned from The Tinned Fish Market.

Ingredients
200gsmoked tuna cut into chunks or a tin of smoked tuna
1fresh coconut, de-shelled, flesh peeled and grated
1red onion, sliced
1chilli pepper, diced
2limes, juice of
handfulbasil leaves, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine everything in a bowl, squeezing a generous amount of lemon juice all over.
Season with salt and pepper.
Warm up some chapatti or roshi (Maldivian flat bread, like Indian roti) to serve with it.
