Went there yesterday for the first time since it was reborn as a swimming pool. London was hot and it was perfect for an outdoor swim. I took pictures but was told off by the lifeguard, child protection law… I might be a paedophile you see. I couldn’t believe how they’d transformed the communal kitchen into a refreshment kiosque, the changing room where I used to stay into an office, the empty pool with a makeshift garden into a super olympic size bath. They’ve done a good job, and I will be going there again.

I remember when my daughter was in the school play we weren't allowed to film it for the same reason: child protection laws! Nuts! These laws don't protect children because we don't let our kids out of our sight in this climate of fear we've had forced on us, so they don't get enough excersise.
