The Sunday papers sound tasty – do you marinade them first?

    I'd go for kedgeree.

    Blueberry pancakes?

I think you could improve on the coffee there, Monmouth is still my favourite. And not that there's anything wrong with toast but crumpets or muffins always make it a bit more of an occasion for me, and it's marmalade season too 😉 God I'm picky.

All sounds great though, I hope my brunch on the Equinox is half as good, am suspecting that will not be the case.

James I did pancakes last time…bit bored with them.

Jones; I'm not a coffee geek but Douwe Egberts blends are good for commercial coffee and I've done a deal with them!
Also did crumpets last time so doing the danishes this time. But basically I'll see how I feel on the day.
    I've never done muffins however.
What are you doing on the equinox?

I'm with you Patrick, I like the coffee maker too.I love toast in the mornings. Not had Kedgeree for some time. The whole thing sounds delicious. And if the sun is shinning what a winning combination.I'm tempted to do something myself for the family, lets get Spring/Summer off to a good start.

I'm constantly impressed that no matter what the day of the year, you can find an occasion worth celebrating and better still, designing a meal for!

    Hope it goes well!
